About

I’m Peter MarigoId. I describe myself as a designer and maker, but I do many things.

I followed a path from sculpture at Central Saint Martins into theatrical and event scenography developing making skills in a broad range of materials. Following a Masters course in product design at the Royal College of Art under Ron Arad, I established my studio to focus on product and furniture design.  Working with both galleries and manufacturers my work is exhibited in both the UK and internationally and included in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, MAK , Vienna, Israel Museum, Jerusalem, CNAP, France, Vitra Design Museum, Germany and various other private and public collections. I am represented by Sarah Myerscough Gallery in London.

I am also the creator and founder of FORMcard.  A handy pocket-sized card of bio plastic that you can use to fix and modify your everyday world simply using hot water to melt it. FORMcard was launched on Kickstarter in November 2015 and then transferred to Indiegogo where it concluded its campaign with more than 10,000 customers worldwide. FORMcard is now distributed globally.

I am currently a visiting professor of Furniture and Product design at London Metropolitan University.
