These vases were create for the exhibition Objects with a Void curated by Study O Portable, for the London Design Festival 2010. Each vase is cast from a single log that has a cavity carved into it. With each layer carved away, terracotta is stuffed inside. The result is a manifestation of the void gradually appearing in the log. The Stuff vases were created seecondly and are made by overfilling the cavity so that the clay erupts over the perimeter.
