A public artwork commissioned for the new Royal Hospital for Sick Children and the Department for Clinical Neuroscience in Edinburgh, Scotland. The artwork is 188m long, stretching through the grounds into the building and out of the other side. The artwork features macroscopic skin textures sampled from patients and staff closely associated with the rebuilt well known hospital, cast in relief as giant concrete panels. The project was coordinated by Ginkgo Projects as part of the Beyond Walls programme incorporting 40 artworks through the hospital for NHS Lothian.
