Half Full / Half Empty stool

This stool was designed for Idee, Japan. own in Tokyo as part of the Design Week 2010. Dying Cryptomeria Japonica trees are turned green on a lathe to create the wood stools which then crack open as they dry. The Half Full/Half Empty stool is reversible, and is designed to appear either top or bottom heavy.
