FORMcard is a low temperature thermoplastic card that I manufacture as a fixing material (please check www.formcard.com for more information). Usually during production, the injection moudling sprues are snipped off and then reground and used to make more cards. However I've been holding on to some of this caleidoscopic waste material to make things like these vases. They're made kind of like coil pots. They've got a lovely resonance when flicked, as they're strong and springy, quite unlike a normal moulded form or a ceramic or glass vessel. A great benefit is that if they topple off a shelf they will never break :)
I'm selling them so drop me a line if you like them. I have more but haven't photographed them all yet.
